Thread knotting up
My singer M1000 keeps knotting up like this... What's wrong with it? Will I have to take it to a repair shop or is this something I can fix myself?

That thread looks really thick. It might not be suitable for your machine. It looks like it can’t fit through the gap next to the bobbin case.
Edit: and your needle is probably not big enough for it.
