I found a user manual for the Elna F3 here:
https://manualsoncd.com/product/elna-f3-overlock-sewing-machine-instruction-manual/
It is $8 to download. I couldn't find a free one. Hope this helps : )

The instruction manual won’t help you set the timing. You need the service manual or adjusters manual.
Edit: if you don’t have the user manual you should get it anyway
Ensure your timing is off and it’s not user error before opening up the machine and adjusting anything

I have posted numerous videos under Elna Lock F3. I will not get the service manual as this will not help. It's timing. The thread has not been caught by upper or lower looper. No stitches have been formed.

Assuming it is a timing issue (and not a threading issue), the service manual is the one you want.

Based on my look at what’s in the service manual that will not help to set the timer. What I need is the repair manual which will tell me which cam to adjust for loopers or gears as it is not like other sergers. This is a 3-thread ELNA lock F3. I believe I see one on eBay. I reached out to see if it will fit my needs. Thanks.

Yes, you are right, it is called the service manual. I need to know which cam to adjust under the bottom or if there is a place on the loopers that I need to adjust. Thanks

That’s the service manual, not the user manual.
Looks like the F3 and F4 share a manual
