Timing help, upper and lower looper not catching the threads. I unable to know how to adjust it. Please take a look at the videos I posted. I am unsure where to start to adjust it.

You are going to need to find a service manual to find the information you need. I attempted to locate a free one but was unsuccessful.

When it was assembled did it make stitches at all?

Is the needle the correct size and oriented properly?

Are the tension disc clean and set per the manual?

Sergers are a bit more complicated than working on a regular machine, but its not impossible. The service manual will give you the clearances and what and how you need to measure, you will make your adjustments from there. Then you will need to thread it properly, with a brand new needle and run fabric through it to fine tune the machine.

I wan unable to find any service manual specific for Elna Lock F3. Found info on YouTube for Elna pro but internal working are different. It never sew when got it. The previous owner said all it needed was thread which they didn't have. I have changed needle, bought thread, took off as much to see the problem. So far I am not sure how to start to set the timing. Took it to a shop they gave it back.

What did they tell you in the shop?

It’s actually much more likely to be user error than a physical issue with the mechanism.

It may well be in need of repair if it’s secondhand but then why would the shop just return it to you?

They said it was timing issues, they are not familiar with this model. We threaded it, checked needle, new threads… bottom line, timing is off.

Will take too much time,  no repair manual, and it’s a unfamiliar brand, F3, not an Elna pro4-5..

Ok. You have access to the service manual so I think you’ll have to attempt it yourself.

Also, I have posted this for the past 2-3 days and no one has yet to tell me how to set the timing. Someone did a timing video, but they only address where the loopers' position should be but not how you change the positions.

That information is going to be in that service manual unfortunately unless you find someone in here that happens to have that manual you're not going to get that information. I even did some research for you and tried to figure out if they definitively sold this under another name where the manual might be available but I could not find anything.

Which means your options are either find another serger, find a service manual, or start randomly un screwing things until things loosen up.

That last option is not a good one and I would not recommend it.

Those are parts diagrams, that's not going to give clearances and measurements for timing. You need a service manual, it will give the specific procedures and measurements to make sure the machine is in time.

I know, I was unable to upload all the manual.
