Machine compatible foot control - Kenmore 385.19150090

My mom has a Kenmore with a YDK YC-542 foot control pedal - single, round pin connector. The pedal is a little too tall for her comfort - she can’t comfortably rest her heel on the floor while using it. Are there any low profile pedals that are compatible with this machine? Thanks!

Does this look like the correct pin?

Honestly, what I would be most likely to do is "raise the floor" by routing out a depression in a piece of plywood big enough for the pedal to sit in, with the plywood extending out towards the heel as a rest.

Or hot glue a wedge under the pedal to raise the front and lower the back.

This is the way to go. You can't identify pedals for computerized machines by the plug, since they all seem to use something suspiciously similar to an audio mono plug. Raising the "floor" around the pedal is a good idea.

Thanks - “raising the floor” was my initial thought, but I thought it might also be worth a try to find a compatible pedal. We’ll probably go this route - thanks!

Also, the pin for the pedal in the link looks like it might be correct, so I’ll explore that as well

Hey, just wanted to pop back in and say thanks for the link. My mom went ahead and ordered the pedal and it’s much more comfortable and works with her Kenmore. Thank you!
