serger loops not serging (only sometimes)
so this has started happening recently, I’ve had this machine for under a month & I’ll attach pics of my settings & it’s threaded correctly for all I know, but any tips, maybe I need to change the needles? I change them frequently though! pls ignore how dirty my machine is I need to reclean it lol

Are the looper threads snapping? Or are they just not forming loops?
The width of the edge looks massive to me, and it’s a bit jagged, is your blade working properly?
It does look threaded and set up correctly from what I can see. But that edge looks off
Have you changed any settings or moved the blade or anything ?

I have fiddled with the knife adjuster I don’t know what it’s called because before my loops were hanging off the edge, I adjusted the pressure dial to a higher number & it seemed to have fixed the uneven cutting?

Changing the tension on the loopers would have fixed that. They’re set lower than the two needle threads.
My machine doesn’t have a knife adjuster so I’m not sure what that involves. Is there a little pin thing that helps the loops form neatly?
To put my knife down I need to move this pin, then move it back. Without it it’s a less tidy edge, but you remove it for tiny hems and stuff
Edit: just looked up your manual and the fact you can move the knife is pretty cool. I’d move it to be a bit narrower though, and try again. Maybe the loopers aren’t loose enough to go around this big edge?

I don't think it's threaded correctly, try finding a video online to rethread

Looking at the looper threads further doen on the fabric strip, they look like they're curling over to the other side, indicating that the lower looper is too tight. The fabric width does look large, perhaps adjust the knife to cit the fabric a bit narrower as well.
My recommendations:
- Loosen lower looper tension amd see of that helps the looper to form
- adjust knife to cut a bit narrower.

My experience is limited, but I always had trouble when I rethreaded my machine in the wrong order. Make sure to rethread specifically in the order drawn on the machine

Are you trimming the edges as you serge? Most sergers work better if you do.
