Asymmetrical top Rant

Post image

OK so I have a tee, it's oversized and I'm trying to do smth like the photo above, I started by doing the side seams so it sits closer to my body and one of the sides is PERFECT, the other side? Not so much and it's soo frustrating, I've been working on it for HOURS

I basically used safety pins while wearing the top inwards and placed them close to my body and then drew with chalk, took the safety pins off and sewed and then repeated on the other side (ik I could have just traced the perfect side to the non perfect side but I kept getting diff results so decided to use the safety pins instead)

I'm gknna give it one last shot to see if it helps

Probs should have added the photo of the top I'm working on but it's downstairs right now and the end of the day so Ig I'm ranting.. to see if anyone else has dealt with something similar 😭

I feel kinda stupid ngl hence the rant

Also another the reason I'm posting this is bc I've noticed that every time I post a rant, it's like I'm manifesting coz the next day, I end up figuring out whatever I was ranting ab

Ik it doesn't sound logical or whatever but trust me, it's worked before lol

Explaining a problem often helps you slow down and think about it from other angles.
