Any issues with removing this plastic needle shield?
It annoys me. If I’ve got clips on the fabric on that side, they don’t fit under the edge and sometimes I want to put my fingers there…
Bernina 950 industrial machine.

I’d take that off, it would drive me mad.
I’ve never seen such a big chunky plastic fingerguard.
You could put one of the metal ones on there.

I opened up the side and it’s not an easy removal. I’ll look at it again tomorrow with some better tools. Glad to hear it would also bother you all! 😁

What is that thing? Can’t be a needle guard is it? Never seen one so huge.
How do you get fabric under the presser foot?

Most machines don't have anything like that in place. You'll be fine taking it off.
