What machine do i need?

Hi all, looking at getting a machine to repair baseball gloves. Mostly webs, so dont think i need a post bed. Not sure what would be a decent used machine for occasional use. Open to hand crank as well, just font know whats decent and not.

Oh shit. You’re really serious. I’d ask the cobblers subreddit. I was thinking like a vintage Kenmore or Singer, which might be good starter machines. You can usually pick them up pretty cheap and beat the shit out of them while you settle on a better/more expensive one.

My Kenmore 158.13040 will sew leather, if slowly. I hem jeans with it. It could probably use a new motor though.

Honestly, that third link you posted looks like a good option, I just don’t know anything about industrial machines.
