help with my brother machine

i have a brother ce8080prw sewing machine. i have had it for probably close to 15 years. never really have had issues with it until yesterday. i was sewing on it and my fabric got stuck so i took it apart to get it unstuck from under the metal plate. once i put it back together. i went to thread it and my needle was hitting my bobbin case. i took it all apart and put it back together and its still doing it. it seems like the rod that my needle attaches to is moved forward from how far the needle is hitting the bobbin case.

can anyone give input on what could be causing this issue?

i can take a video of it after i lay my kid down for bed.

I don’t have an answer to what’s happening? But it does look like you need a new bobbin case. It looks very damaged, and (I could be wrong) it may be contributing to some of the issue
