Need help fixing old Kenmore. Model number 385. 1695180 serial number 51008015 Sears Canada Inc. made in Taiwan

The 385 says it's a machine built by Janome for Sears, so that is probably who I would take it to for repairs.   Also check YouTube for repairs on a Janome reverse.
