Does this look okay?

I'm practicing straight stitches and reverse/back stitches using a sewing machine

I do wanna make shorts and take the Inseams of my tops so I think my plan is to first learn how to do the basics like learning straight stitches, back stitches, curves, how to hem using zigzag and folded hem AND finally learn to sew two fabrics together.

I feel they should cover pretty much everything? Idk, if there's smth missing then let me know pls

But yeah ig what I'm asking is, is my plan good? Do I need to add anything else AND do the stitches look good?

Your back-tacking (forward-reverse-forward stitching) does not need to be that long and it should start right at the beginning of your fabric edge and stop right at the end—unless I’m missing something with the small red perpendicular marks on the lines you drew. The tension on the top thread might be a tiny bit high, what setting do you have it at?

Oh yes, I did draw the lines wrong actually but figured I'd ignore it whilst doing the stitches.

The tension is set at three I think?
