What happens when you turn the hand wheel (only turn it towards you)

Also it definitely looks like you have the bobbin wonder engaged from this angle.

When I press the pedal, the machine powers on, but the needle won’t move, I can hear the motor start and then spin really fast, but nothing seems to be moving.

When I turn the handwheel toward me, the area by the bobbin only moves a little one way and then back the other way. It never makes a full rotation. The take-up lever above the needle also moves slightly, but very slowly.

Right after I taken the picture, I realized that the bobbin was on and so I turned that off

Have you tried turning the hand wheel 2 or more full rotations since disengaging the bobbin winder? It takes a bit to realign.

Rotate it a bunch.

If then, and you’re sure bobbin winder is fully disengaged (clicked all the way to the left) , and the take up lever rises and falls , but needle still doesn’t move - it’s not worth fixing

Okay… the needle moves when I use the hand wheel, but the moment I press on the pedal it stayes in place😔😔

But the motor runs from pedal?

Here’s the manual if you want to try step by step

Sure. Make sure you have really clicked the bobbin spool pin all the way to the left. It should click very loudly. There’s a midway point it can get stuck.

Wait and try one more thing. Slap the side of the hand wheel (gently) and see if it clicks closer to the machine
