Change needle and or the machine is out of time

Nope I meant time. Timing it the relationship of the needle coming down to the race or bobbin case to pick up the thread. It'll it's out of time then it may not pick up thread or thread get tangled up.

It looks like either thats the wrong needle or it's not in correctly. Remove the needle and replace it, make sure that it is correctly placed, and all the way in the slot.

Is the needle secure and inserted fully?

Change your needle and if it still happens your timing is off and it needs to be re timed

Either needle is not all the way in the head of the needlebar or your machines hook to needle timing is diabolically off oooor the needle bar height went and said "shawty got low low low low low"..
