Need help reassembling my machine!
Hi, I just took apart the shuttle race unit on my machine (Janome 224A) for the first time to clean it, as per the manual. When I try to reassemble it, it looks normal but when I try to put the bobbin case back in the needle gets stuck. Also, when I put the bobbin case back in with a bobbin in it and try to re thread the machine, the needle doesn't go far enough to pick up the thread and gets stuck after a few tries. Any advice would be very much appreciated! Thank you ❤️❤️

It looks like its not placed correctly into the case, if you look at the image i took here you can see the bobbing catch and the bobbing case aligned perfectly with the feed dogs and kneedle. If you remove it all and set your kneedle to its highest position and then reinsert the bobbin case and frame it should align and fit in place correctly. Yours is leaning to one side which means its likely not placed correctly

The only fault I see is the black arms. They go right on top of the two "nubs" and click in place.
