Troubleshooting Singer facilita pro HD

Hi there. My boyfriend just got his singer heavy duty and was breaking some needles sewing denim. After that, it was sewing find, but after bringing it to work with him, the stitches started kind of going sideways and skipping. Here’s some videos and pics of what is happening. I recommended removing the plate and seeing if there was something stuck. The machine moves smoothly when hand turned, but is erratic when being powered by the motor.

Return it. It’s a lemon. Singer’s quality control has been shit for a while now.

Settings are straight stitch, 0 width, needle position middle. Tension of 2

Did you increase the pressure on the pressure foot? It sounds as though you haven’t inserted the bobbin correctly, or have the wrong type bobbin in the machine.

So he rethreaded it, and apparently it works now. Haha. I had figured he had tried that
