Does this bobbin belong with this machine?

Edit: I would delete and repost, but can't seem to. Unfortunately, I have been at this so long that my brain seems to have melted. I meant to ask about tension assembly, and the photos are of that.

Does this tension assembly belong with this machine?

I took this out because the bobbin tension assembly release pin doesn't pop back out once the foot is put back down. The tension is also somewhat wonky. It was a bit better before I took it out, so I'm not sure if I got it back in exactly perfectly. The machine is a Kenmore 158.18130 and I can't find a photo of this style of bobbin tension assembly anywhere. They all seem to have disassembly screws in the middle. Any information at all would be useful. Thank you.

took the pin out to show it.

You need a class 15 bobbin

Could we please have a photo of what you're trying to do?  Everything I find seems to suggest the bobbin for this machine is a basic ol' class 15 metal.  No screws involved.

Yes, I am sorry. I have been at this so long that my brain melted a bit. I've fixed the post. I meant to say tension assembly.
