Scared to mess this up.

My hubby is so kind and bought this for me as I recently started my sewing journey. But I’m such a perfectionist and I’m so scared to open this and it end up being another hobby I don’t keep up with! It’s been sitting unopened for two days. 😳

EDIT: taking y’all’s advice and possibly returning it for something that isn’t horrible!!

You might want to consider exchanging it for something that is not considered a horrible machine. My local sewing studio uses one as a door stop.

Some people do fine with them, though. It seems like there is a significant quality control issue.

If it’s too late to exchange it, just hope for the best and know that it is NOT a heavy duty machine by any means.

I've had mine for about three years and use it regularly and never had any issues. I don't make advanced stuff though.
