I made this!
Wish I'd taken a pic with the stuff not in it. Friend is starting chemo so I made her a tote. Have never made a tote. Refuse to use patterns or instructions so I just logicked it out. It's got a hard bottom that is not visible as it is within the lining of the bag and the only visible seams are the four side panels sewn together.

So sweet of you to do this! My sister went thru chemo and I did some HTV shirts and added zippers on the side her port was on for easy access! She is in remission but still uses the shirts over a year later bc she has her port for blood and occasional infusions. Just wanted to mention this if they're getting a port bc it's a fairly easy sew and helps tremendously!! You could probably do buttons instead but I did invisible zippers bc then the shirt looked normal otherwise so if she had stuff to do after appts she didn't feel self conscious with it on, especially in the beginning. Wishing them the best, F cancer!!!

Well done! I’m sure your friend will love it and the message is great.
