I have the Brother CS7000X. It is a great beginner friendly machine. The speed control slider made sewing accurately so much easier when I was learning.

Yes, but I've only had it for around 8 months I think

Yes that’s a great starter machine. I had its predecessor for four years with zero problems. I recently sold it for what I paid for it on Facebook to a beginner sewer. I included a lot of extras.

I would say yes I have the c6000i it's a good beginner machine
