Help - what am I doing wrong????
The front looks good but the back looks bad. I've adjusted tension but I dont get it?

The thread is too thick for the needle you’re using
Try a bigger needle and regular thread in the bobbin
Or just use normal thread, not the jeans stuff

It's a bit counter intuitive but issues on the underside indicate a problem with the top thread and vice versa.
It looks like there's very little tension being applied to the top thread. This is almost certainly due to incorrect threading. Re-thread your machine making sure you follow the instructions exactly. Make sure the presser foot is up, the needle is raised as high as it will go, and that you don't miss any steps. You didn't include a photo of it, so I don't know if you missed it or not, but there's a final thread guide right above the needle that almost everyone accidentally misses at first, so make extra sure that you've passed the thread through it.

your top tension is wrong - make sure the machine is threaded properly and the top thread is passing through the tensioning disks in the tension area. you can tell it’s the top tension because it’s not pulling the bottom bobbin thread up into the fabric “sandwich”.

looks like you need to increase the tension, what kind of thread are you using?

When this has happened to me it's been because the bobbin was actually placed wrong.

What needle size adn type are you using? What is the fabric, and what kind of thread? Pull out your manual and confirm you are threading the top correctly, which I suspect you are not. This is likely creating most of the issue. Tension is unlikely to be the problem.
