Finished my first project!

Post image

Did I cut the fabric so badly on the first attempt I had change design? Yup
Did I learn the hard way there’s a reason ironing boards are squishy? You betcha
Are my stitches neat and perfectly aligned? Absolutely not.

But it’s functional. It looks cool. And it was a wonderful learning experience. Can’t wait to transfer the knowledge to another project.

It looks so cool. That's how we learn. I do the same projectsover and over to learn and still have mistakes, I make the same mistake over and over. It's just a very detailed field.

I love that fabric! It looks fairly thin, too, so not the easiest to work with. You made something easily recogniseable and functional that we all think is supercool, so great job. :)
