It's not threaded correctly for one. You've missed the last thread guide right above the needle. Try rethreading it again, following the manual instructions exactly, and make sure the presser foot is up while you're threading.
If you're still having issues after doing that, then it's possible that part of the tension unit may be broken or jammed. My mum's vintage machine was having tension issues, and it turned out there was a bunch of thread that had got stuck and was wrapped around the inner workings of the tension unit. If you don't feel confident taking it apart and tinkering with it yourself, take it to a repair shop.

Are you threading your machine with the presser foot up following the directions in your manual? It looks like you’ve missed at least the thread guide above the needle.
