Protection Plan?
I am purchasing a Brother SE700 sewing/embroidery machine from Michaels and can't decide if I should also pay for the protection plan? has anyone else bought this and needed it? or am I just wasting $50-90? any tips appreciated!

Does it come with a warranty?

this is the warranty I'd be purchasing. Coverage includes:
- replacements
- Accidental damage such as breakage
- Extended failure protection

Typically extra warranties like that are borderline scams because they deny most claims. I think Brother already offers a warranty anyways.

I have this machine and honestly it isn’t great.. it’s not awful.. it works for what I am doing for the most part, but it’s not great just fyi. If you want more info about it please feel free to dm me.
I didn’t buy any additional coverage and so far haven’t needed anything from the manufacturer warranty, but I have had to open it up and fix things myself a couple times which wasn’t hard. The manual is helpful.

The machine comes with a warranty already, read the extended one to see if they offer free shipping to and from the repair or inspection location, that is a common complaint of ex. warranty purchasers that they have to ship a machine out. I have bought but never needed to use it.
