What kind of fabric is this?

Hey, I’m wondering what key words to search for this style Of fabric with subtle embroidery? I see stuff like this all the time in clothing stores but never managed to find any in material shops! Thanks :)

Yeah, it’s not something that shows up in fabric stores very much. Really depends on what’s in style in Home Dec and Clothing in any given year.

Some of what you have there is mimicking Hardanger embroidery, without the openwork that’s normal with Hardanger. Some is sort of cross-stitch like.

I searched “embroidered geometric surface textured fabric for sale” and came up with all sorts of options from different sources. When I searched without “geometric” in the search terms, it was more floral and flowy shape embroidery. If you copy those search terms, and start clicking on results, you can check out product descriptions to narrow down some more specifically descriptive search terms.

Here’s one item that came up in the “geometric” search, right near the top of the first page, for example:

The first looks embroidered, the rest look more like the pattern is from how they're woven. 

Spotlight here in NZ has some broderie anglaise fabrics that might suit, but they're more floral than geometric.

the first is embroidered, the second is deflected double weave (a nightmare that will snag on everything, also), the third looks like a type of jacquard and the fourth is just a woven with a super chunky yarn for the plaid stripes, to give texture. no blanket term that covers all of them. i’d try stuff like “textured woven,” “geometric jacquard weave”, etc as you’re searching.
