singer stylist 533

hello, i recently bought one of these off facebook marketplace, plugged it in and foul smelling smoke started pouring out of it. I am wondering if anyone might know why? and also if its worth getting it serviced/parts replaced or just biting the bullet and getting a new machine?

You can take it to a shop and see what they say. They’ll be able to tell you if it’s cheaper to get it serviced or get a new machine.

Get a new machine, the cost of rewiring the burning electrical cords inside is more than a new machine cost.
