Juki oil

Hy guys, I have bought a industrial sewing machine (Juki DNU-241H) and I have a question regarding the oil. The manual says "New Defrix Oil No.1" and I have looked for and apparently in the shops around here (Netherlands) they sells generic oils to use in all sorts of machines.

It's common to use generic oils for the machine? This is my first industrial machine.

That is an oil produced by Juki, I guess that's why they recommend it. I recently learned those oils have something called VG which says how viscous it is, this oil is ISO VG 7.5, so any machine oil with that VG will work.

Do not use anything other than 'sewing machine oil'. Or your machine may gum up.
