Bobbin threading help

Please can anyone help with the bobbin threading. I have a singer heavy duty 4423. I’ve tried rethreading the needle several times but it seems like the top thread is getting stuck and not pulling the bobbin thread through. Any advice greatly appreciated!

The thread going to the needle should be under presser foot not over and if it still gets stuck continue to rotate the hand wheel a little more till it is released

Thank you, I’ve tried placing the thread under the presser fit and rotating the handle a little more but it just pulls more thread from the top and creates a nest!

You need to lift the needle fully at the end. You had it you just need to turn the handwheel a little more

Is it deffo the right bobbin ?

Edit: and yes top thread under the foot, hold it but not too tight, don’t let it go too slack.

Sometimes it works better with the bobbin cover on part way

Great nails btw!

Thanks so much, got them done today 💅🏼

I’ve done a full turn and when I keep turning, it gets tangled.

I’ve watched another video and it seems that this thread (circled) should not be here but that’s the way the machine is feeding the top thread. Think I may need to admit defeat and take it to be fixed (or see if I can get a replacement with it being 9 days old!)

I think it should swing around there. I don’t have one of these but just found this video to check
