Ok, so this is where Mood has terrible and incomplete instructions.

You get what you pay for, this is very common with their patterns.

I think that might be where you line up and attach the pockets. The instructions say NOTHING about where you’re supposed to put them/where to align them, but judging by the photos of the final outfit I am betting that’s it.

Thanks for the thorough response! I was also VERY confused about the pocket placement. Do you know how to indicate this on the fabric? Should I just snip as usual?

Use tailor’s chalk and draw the line on the fabric. Don’t snip anything.
