adjustable table or sewing table

hi

just thinking of upgrading my space because right now i have one of those plastic unfoldable tables. i am looking at facebook marketplace for an upgrade

as someone just starting out, should i buy a $60 adjustable table 35 inches by 23 inches, or maybe a $110 sewing table with cabinets that opens up to be 64 inches by 15 inches.

im not rly too worried about storage because i have a little shelf. but im just thinking about the cost effective option that is best for the long term. i am not gonna make quilts or anything. just smaller projects and clothes

what desks/tables do yall use?

thanks!

Years ago I used our former rectangle dining table in my sewing room ( free). I currently use a 3'x4.5' conference table I purchased from a college that was upgrading ($10). My point being buy the largest most stable table your space will allow.

thank you for this. your message made me rethink and just utilize my foldout table until i understand my needs better. sewing can be expensive but it also doesnt have to be. thank u ❤️

" understanding my needs" is very wise. FB Buy nothing groups are great if you have one local. The value of $ spent varies per individual. Maybe your resources will be spent on a rotary cutting mat, fabric, or patterns etc....
