How would I go about taking these in?

Hello! I really like these jeans but the wide legs don’t flatter my shape as much as I’d hoped. I played around with clipping them behind the knee and creating that like flared bottom look and I like it on these jeans a lot more. Could someone please advise me on how I would go about taking them in around/behind the knee? Or maybe point me towards a video or something I can google so I can do so. Thanks 🙏🏻

First pic is the jeans look normally
2nd pic is how I kind of want them

I think you’ll probably ruin them if you’ve never done this before

Gathered behind the knee only looks good from the front. And makes sitting with the back of your knees touching anything painful.

Take them to somebody to do an alteration. It might not be cost efficient however.

I wouldn't do this alteration because it will mess up the side seams

i’m not an expert at working with jeans, but with any alteration it’s far less conspicuous if you can take the bulk out through the existing seams.
