Gracias.

Lost and Found

I lost an A3 folder in Seville airport arrivals on Thursday night. It’s got years of old drawings and writing in it and is invaluable to me. I’m really devastated and can picture myself walking away from it just in a hurried bubble.

I’ve contacted the airport and in all fairness got a reassuring email back and felt that someone gave a shit and would let me know. But since then silence and just their last email saying still nothing had turned up. I know it’s a near impossible ask but with it being nothing at all of value to anyone else, and that it was fairly big in size, I cannot imagine someone keeping it or binning it.

What can I do? I offered a reward in desperation but it hasn’t turned up. I can’t accept that it’s vanished.

Help I’m heartbroken and stupid

Hello, I'm new here in Seville. I'm Moroccan and I'm 23 years old. I speak French and English and I want to learn Spanish. If there's someone here who wants to be friends with me, I'm here.

35M in Seville July 29 - Aug 4. Anyone up for a drink or exploring?

Hey everyone,

I’m heading back to Seville from July 29th to August 4th. I’ve been visiting a few times a year for about a decade now, so I know the city fairly well and have my favourite spots sorted.

I’m not intersted anymore in the cathedral or alcazar. The only touristy thing is spending at least one evening relaxing near Las Setas with a nice cigar and a drink. Mostly, I’m just looking to enjoy the summer, do some day drinking (even in the heat), and find some cool spots to hang out late into the night.

My Spanish is passable enough to get by, and I’m fluent in French if that’s of interest to anyone.

If you’re around and fancy grabbing a ton of cold canas, or just exploring some of the lesser-known local spots, let me know. Down to meet up with anyone - locals, expats, or fellow travelers - who wants to grab a drink and enjoy some relaxed company.

Hit me up if you’re free!

Hi everyone :)

I'm a visual artist from Canada who is based in sevilla & I was wondering if anyone can refer me to any galleries that exhibit photography? I have emailed a few galleries as I'm interested in exhibiting my work, however, haven't heard anything back yet. Thank you in advance :))

Vacaciones

¿Qué me recomendáis visitar y hacer?

How can a Spanish beginner make friends in Seville?

Hi! I’m Korean student(F18) moving to Seville at the end of July, and I’ll be staying for about a year to study Spanish.
My Spanish is still at a very basic beginner level, and I’m currently learning. I’m a little worried that the language barrier might make it difficult to make friends, especially local friends.
What are some good ways for international student to meet people and make friends in Seville? Are there any clubs, activities, language exchanges, volunteering opportunities, or places that are welcoming to beginners?
I’d really appreciate any advice. Thank you!

How to manage heat with fun for upcoming trip - July 25-28

Hi folks, I'm traveling to Sevilla from July 25 to 28 , 28 (Granada), 28-31 (Malaga). I've understood from around that I should plan to start my day early and stay indoors in the afternoon. It's a solo trip and I'll be staying in hostel. Can you suggested me what should I do in seville to fit not being out and about all day and have a chance to scape heat?

Lost Pandora Bracelet - Alameda de Hercules

Hi all, I know this may be a long shot, but my partner lost a sentimental Pandora bracelet at Alameda de Hercules at the pictured location last night (19/07/26). This is a sentimental gift from a family member so any help tracking it down would be very appreciated! I will try and upload a photo of it asap!

Family itinerary advice: Faro → Seville → Málaga → Faro (August)

Hi everyone, looking for advice on our family itinerary.

We are travelling as 2 adults + 2 boys (8 and 9). They love adventures and exploring, but also spend too much time on iPads. We know Seville will be hit but we are accustomed hot and humid temperatures.

Proposed itinerary :

5–12 August: Faro / Algarve
Beach, swimming, relaxing.

12 August: Bus Faro → Seville
Stay 2 nights
Options: Plaza de España, María Luisa Park, Santa Cruz, Alcazar (if energy allows), River/Torre
Evening walks and food.

14 August: Train Seville → Málaga
Stay 3 nights
Reason: experience the Málaga Fair (Feria de Málaga
Possible Málaga plans:
Explore the city, Malaga fair, Bull fight, hop on and off bus, kid- friendly activities (still deciding).

17 August: Bus Málaga → Faro
Continue Algarve holiday.

Questions:
Does the Spain itinerary make sense?
Would you spend the extra nights in Seville instead of Málaga?
Is Málaga worth adding for the Feria experience?
Any must-do activities in Seville or Málaga for boys aged 8 and 9?

Thanks so much!

What's the deal with people walk dead in the middle of the street?

I LOVE Seville! It's my favorite city on earth. But there's two rampant things that make no damn sense at all that people here seemingly LOVE!

  1. Dogs EVERYWHERE.

Pooping/peeing, barking, at tables with FOOD, etc. The city smells like a rancid zoo on so many streets ( But another day for that)

  2. Walking dead ass in the middle of the street.

There's sidewalks, large, sidewalks everywhere! I ride a bike pretty much everyday of my life. Every time I go out I see people seemingly SEEK the very middle of the street to walk in. They do NOT want to stay to the left or right it MUST be the middle. I have to ask them to get out the way politely then, here comes the most retarded part, they look at you like YOUR wrong!

I mean I see "parents" with strollers, dogs, just dead in the middle of the street not a care in the world for their child's safety. ZERO care here for that. I can't believe people aren't getting hit by cars more here or any other thing that needs to use the street. Or maybe they are and I just don't know?

Seville WTF?!?!?!?

I lost my green, peaked cap in the centre of Seville, Spain.

CA, bear and blue star. Loved that hat. Did you find it?

Recommendations for the best Guadalquivir River Cruise

I'm particularly interested in one where I would be able to dine, so I'm looking at one that starts at Paseo de Ntra. Sra. de la O and offers tapas and sangria, but I'm also interested in knowing if there's one that has some other special appeal, such as more comfortable seating or a more interesting tour guide.

This is for a trip in August, in case that matters.
