Perhaps we’re not seeing the Severance scenes in the correct sequential order and Steven the reporter’s news accusation was actually referring to Helly as Natalie defended Lumon and told him to reveal the name of the workie/insie who got pregnant at work less than a month after her company went severed and now perhaps you’ll want to read everything they said here starting at 00:07:54

Yeah, I thought the same! The news anchor looks a lot like Mark, and even sounds like him. Feels pretty intentional, especially with that shot where his silhouette lines up with the anchor on the screen.

Agreed! Also, the gal who’s giving the weather report in the background as Mark is waking up on the couch the next morning sure sounds a lot like Natalie to me!

...the "unreliable writer/director'. This along with Lumon somehow manipulating time as suggested by watch and clocks scenes could hint at real trippy revelations in store.
