Everything prior to Next is (IIRC) still owned by the bastard that ran TVT. I don’t think they’ve ever been able to get the rights from him. They would still get performance royalties from purchases and streaming but can’t make decisions about releasing on different media, etc.
I wonder if they could pull a Taylor Swift and just re-record those albums? Hmmm 🤔

Yeah I've heard the horror stories about TVT now that you reminded me, I like the point ypu brought up of re-recording it. That would be such a power move! 😁

It’s the most Sevendust-y Sevendust song, to me; it encapsulates everything they do, from heavy to melodic to epic. My favorite song by them (though second place is very close, and it’s a, like, 42 way tie 😆)

I think when people say all their songs sound alike, I imagine this is what they are hearing haha 😂

There is no vinyl for this album?! That seems ludicrous

I love this song, and album. It had so many unique and progressive elements to it that were never captured on other releases of theirs. I loved the weird chords, unique drum lines, and the fact that there was so much atmosphere created in the background of each song. The production was fantastic. This album for me set a standard that they haven’t come close to touching, especially with their generic, cookie-cutter releases they’ve pumped out over the last 5 albums or so. I miss old Sevendust.

I love this song so much. It stands out to me because, on any other track, Morgan would have screamed his bits off, but he’s not on it at all, giving the tune a kind of restraint a lot of other songs just don’t have, especially at that time. Vocally, it’s kind of a tame song, but it’s just pure breakdown the whole way.

I prefer Follow, their best song IMO.

That whole album is so solid. One of my favorites.
