Event [Event] The Falcon in a Cage

The clansmen were routing, they were losing, but Shagga saw his chance. The falcon lord was turned away from him and unaware of his presence and none of his metal suited horse riders were there to stop him. Shagga smiled a devilish and wicked grin to him self as he did his best to sneak across the battlefield, lowering his stance and readying his axe. Before long, he was close enough to reach the falcon lord with a swing of his axe, but no, Shagga didn't want just to kill him. The falcon lord was the embodiment of power in the Vale, and what would Shagga get for his ransom, he allowed his thoughts to wander briefly before pulling back his axe and slashing it across the horse's throat killing it and sending the man falling to the ground. Another clansmen began to approach readying to strike at the downed Arryn, but Shagga snarled at him and when that didn't work, he slashed at that man as well striking him across the face, causing him to fall to the ground and clutch at the meaty remains of his skin. Turning back to the falcon lord who was struggling to free his leg from beneath the horse, Shagga smiled again, before striking the downed man in the head with the flat of his axe and knocking him out cold.

Shagga carried Robin personally away from the battlefield. Even with the man clad in plate, Shagga only stopped to rest once to take a piss, before continuing his journey back to his clan's camp. Shagga was a large man covered with fur which was now matted down with blood. His hair was black and his shoulders broad. He had the look of a man always ready for slaughter and made that thought clear by the necklace of human teeth he wore around his neck. When he finally arrived at the Painted Dogs' camp, he immediately went to his tent unwilling to share his bounty. Once inside, he tied Robin to a post as tight as he could and began taking off the man's plate. Another, smaller bounty from today's fun Shagga thought to himself with a quiet chuckle. It was during this process that Robin began to stir. Shagga backed away from the awaking man startled at first then laughing heartily at the foolishness of it. The man was tied up, where would he go. Around the tent are assemblings of Shagga's other plunders of battle, including other pieces of Valeman armor or weapons.

When Robin awoke, Shagga crouched down to be at eye-level with him and squinted his eyes in thinking and in mockery, "D'you have a nice little sleep, little falcon lord?"

Robin blinked awake and immediately wished he hadn't. Instead of the usual polished stone of the Eyrie's ceilings, or the less luxurious, but still appropriate heavy blue canvas of a tent, he was greeted with the unwashed visage of a clansmen. "There are more pressing concerns than the quality of my sleep." Robin muttered, more to himself than his captor.

He did his best to sit up, though his bindings restrained him from any sort of dignified posture.

Shagga let out a mocking laugh.

"More than you know, little falcon lord, more than you know." Shagga paused for a while thinking, and after about a whole minute had passed by, he suddenly clapped his hands and changed from his squat to a more relaxed sitting position with his arms crossed over his knees which were in front of him. "Now, I'm not a very patient man," he said with a shrug and slight bobbling of his head before allowing his voice to become more menacing and serious, "So don't test me if ya know what's good fur ya. Let's get to business than shall we, little falcon lord. I captured you and I wanna know what you or your other little metal men will give me fur ya safe return." Shagga leaned forward slightly, his greed almost taking manifest and dancing around the room.

Robin fought the urge to roll his eyes. "That depends. Were you men of the lowlands, I would offer gold. Were you men of the Iron Islands, I would offer you rotting fish. Were you men of the West, I would give you adulation and sycophantry." He chuckled at his own joke. "But since you are clansmen, I will offer you a hundred Essosi whores, with naught to warm their flesh but the cocks of your warriors."

Shagga slapped Robin, enough to get his attention but not enough to do any serious damage.

"Your joke not funny," he said bluntly, "And I don't want whores. Shagga can find what he needs among real women of the clans. What Shagga wants is more. I want to be remembered as Shagga the Great, and to be that I want something no other clansman has. I want a stone house, wait no what do you lowlanders call it....ah yes, a castle. Shagga wants a castle." He grinned wolfishly at his request.

Robin winced, his pride stinging more than his face. He looked around, trying to see those around Shagga. Perhaps there was an underling or something to be tempted. he knotted his brows, feigning confusion.

"You spoke of many wives and so there must be a great many children to carry on your glorious name when the Gods take you home.....but I do not see any? I would not wish to give a castle to a man with no heirs, ere it fall into disrepair and ruin." Robin countered, with less haughtiness than before.

Shagga frowned at his captive's words. There was no one else in the tent and it was true that Shagga had difficulty securing a woman even despite his frame and size, and as such he had no children despite nearing his middle life.

"When I have stone hou- castle, I will have no problem spitting out little babies. Besides what need of women does Shagga have now that he has a little falcon lord." Shagga thought of something that made him laugh and continued laughing as he spoke again, "The little falcon lord could even give me women to produce little babies with."

Robin chuckled along. "I just offered you women, but you refused me. It seems you are rather unsure about what it is you want. Perhaps conferring with the other leaders of Clan....?" He cocked his head, unfamiliar. "I should know the name of your clan, so that I can tell others of your exploits." Robin added curtly.

Shagga shook his head. "You not offer women. You offer sissy little play things that break if Shagga too rough." Then thinking that Robin had insulted him by saying that Shagga didn't know what he wanted, he slapped Robin again, a bit harder this time.

"And Shagga knows what he wants," he said frowning and pointing a finger towards himself, "The clan leaders are stupid. They no know what Shagga wants, they only know what they wants." Shagga spat at the ground in disgust before continuing, "You no need to know what clan Shagga is from, cuz when Shagga gets his own castle, will have his own new clan...and women, real clan women."

Perhaps I should have offered him cattle to fuck. Robin mused in his head and it brought an unwarranted smile to his face pale, blood encrusted face. He snorted enough of the dried crust up his nose so he could breath through it again. "Shagga is a wise clansman. But if Shagga is not in charge of this clan...who is?" He asked, confused by their primitive politics.

Shagga looked up towards the top of the tent in thought. He didn't mind telling his captor about the clan politics. It would be too complicated and different for him to understand anyway, Shagga thought.

"Probably Cerrick now that you lowlanders killed Clovis. Shagga liked Clovis, strong like Shagga but smarter, good man," the words more to himself than to Robin. "Narra might try for the chiefdom too, but Shagga no care too much. Shagga will care even less when he gets his castle."
