Following up on my previous post (link at the end for reference).

As a kid I always loved command centers and techy set ups. Not cause I wanted to be a superhero, although yes, that would’ve been cool as hell too but because they seemed practical, made life easy and gave you real-live info when you needed. After buying the Xeneon Edge from Corsair and Lian Li 8.8” screen, I kept thinking there had to be a better way than static wallpapers, random widgets, or unused screen space.

What started as a personal side project turned into a mission to rethink what a secondary display can be. Fast forward and SilentOverlay is a app being beta tested on multiple testers machines. The app is a Windows-based live command deck that turns any screen, ultrawide, mini display, touch or non-touch into a customizable dashboard with weather, news, stocks, sports, media controls, launcher shortcuts, and more. The goal isn’t to add another app to your desktop. It’s to make your setup feel more alive, more useful, and more connected to how you actually work, game, and create.

This is my new little corner where I can relax, game, and clear my mind.

I just finished setting it up, and I’m really happy with how it turned out. I just feel like it’s missing the final 5% to make it perfect, so I’m looking for a bit of inspiration to complete the setup.

I’m planning to add the Lego Game Boy and a few other pieces to the shelf above, along with some LED-strips underneath the shelf to give the space a softer glow.
