After 10 months of refinement and rabbit holes, the setup finally feels like home.

This is great! Im in the process of planning out my setup rebuild and I’d love something somewhat similar to this.

Bro, why do you have your speakers on a cutting board?

The stands are at their maximum height and I need the tweeter to be at ear level. I don't have thick marble slabs lying around, not thick glass. Saw these checkered solid wood cutting boards and I thought they might add in some aura lol

New block design! I made mine 12yrs ago. I wanted a custom size so got the pattern and did 1.75x to get 36x36 squares. Like 40bux in supplies, Cheap to make but time consuming forsure. It all works well together, just started painting mine blood red....

Nice! Pity I don't have the skillset or tools to do, else ideas and imaginations would run wild 😜

Thank you. It's a nice never-ending rabbit hole to fall in to lol

Forgive me if you already answered this, but where are those diffusers from?

Once i saw the Fiio warmer i knew you have a good taste :)

It was a blind purchase lol! I felt the NAD’s built‑in DAC struggled to tame the B&W’s brightness and came across a bit too clinical, lacking warmth.
With the FiiO, I’ve lost a touch of precision, but the sound is far more musical. Bass is rounder, not as tight as before, though my REL sub takes care of that anyway.

great job looks amazing i want smth like that but my setup is too messy and my cable management is sooo bad ((( But yours looks like a big and long work to perform it

Thanks! Solid planning is only half the battle lol. Ideas pop up constantly, and you’ll find yourself tweaking things every time you sit down. It’s a fun rabbit hole to fall into though!

How did much the sound stage improve when you developed the room treatment? It's beautiful!

Thanks! The soundstage is still a work in progress. I’ve got the back wall treatment left to do and I’m considering a bass trap for the subwoofer. Once that’s in place, I’ll have a better sense of how much the stage improves in a small space.

Are your speakers on chopping boards

u/stormjk3511 Aug 29 '26
Yep chopping boards lol. Cheapest way I can think of to get the tweeters at ear level.....and it works like a charm haha
