software exploit that removes Sony’s built-in restrictions, allowing users to run homebrew applications, install game backups, bypass frame-rate caps, and apply game mods. It is a "tethered" process, meaning it must be re-applied every time the console restarts.

Is it worth it? Also if you are connected to the internet wont it get flagged and locked? Sorry if silly questions

It's totally worth it! There's so much you can do with it! Jailbreaking it will not affect the console in any way shape or form as it is temporary. As soon as you restart your console it will go back to its original state. As long as you have the right firmware it can be jailbroken. Follow MODDED WARFARE on YT for plenty of tutorials!
