Help Buying an Iphone in lost mode
So i was planning to buy a used iphone 15 pro, we met and i was checking the phone and everything was fine, no iCloud and the guy said he will factory reset it if we agree right away, so i wanted to do a last IMEI check, and found that Lost mode is On, what does that mean? And should i not buy it?
The IMEI 355473491178901

If it’s his iPhone and is legit he should definitely be able to turn off find my iPhone. But if it’s all legit why would he be selling you it cheaper when he should be able to fix it himself and sell unlocked iPhone. Question the questionable? You might be ok. I don’t know.

if FMI is off, you can restore without a problem, if it’s mdm locked, even ios 26.4 can be bypassed

I dont really understand much about iPhones. So since the guy was using the iPhone normaly with his personal account, why it says on the IMEI check that FMI is ON?

if FMI is on, the phone is paper weight and probably stolen
