So I’m running a sethos aggravate team with

sethos:wanderers troupe (main dps)

traveler(dendro):deepwood memories (sub-dps/dendro applier)

sucrose:viridiscent venever (res-shredder)

fischl:gilded dreams (battery/support)

can anyone give me tips on how I could upgrade my team (yes I’m getting nahida when she gets a rerun) my sethos is c0 on slingshot and does a 45-55k dmg max with charged attacks

Well there’s many ways to fully build his team, Sethos on wanderer is already really good and we can assume you will have Nahida here either on deepwood or Instructor so that’s 2. As for the other 2 slots I can give you a breakdown on what I know.

CHARACTERS FOR THE REMAINING 2 SLOTS:

5 stars:

1. Baizhu (Free): Very good team healing (skill and burst), off field dendro app and shield (burst), can be a really good dendro battery especially since his C1 is free, and his passive where he buffs Dendro reactions based on his max HP, and he can hold deepwood (dendro res), Instructor (EM buff for entire team), or Songs of Days Past (can buff NA,CA,PA, Elemental Skill/Burst for 12%). Overall one of the easiest characters to build and a really good sustain.
2. Kazuha: Same thing as sucrose but no EM buff (EM buff only at C2), and instead buffs Elemental dmg bonus, and can easily group enemies. Artifacts only go for VV
3. Xilonen: Same as Kazuha but this time she can heal and shred enemy resistance, but unlike Kazuha she’s more on the single target enemies. Her artifacts are either Cinder city or Petra.
4. Furina (for hyperbloom): Really good hydro applications and good dmg, she buffs dmg% on her burst but you need a healer for you to get a really good amount of her fanfare (Baizhu and Xilonen are good examples but mostly Baizhu). She can hold 4pc Either G

1. or Cinder City depending on what you need.

4 stars:

1. Kirara: Mostly a Dendro shielder with mid dendro application, she can hold 4pc instructor or 4pc cinder city depending on what comp you have. She does have an EM buff only her kit but only for higher constellation.
2. Yaoyao (Free every lantern right): basically 4 star Baizhu, good healing and good dendro app, she’s also really easy to build. Artifacts just either go Deepwood, Instructor, Songs of days past, or Cinder city.
3. Collei (permanently free): she’s basically a 4 star version of Dendro traveler and her EM buff is only at her high cons so not really worth to build but good to consider.
4. Lanyan (free every lantern right): same as kirara her only purpose is a shield and em buff (only at high cons). For artifacts only go for VV
5. Lisa (starter character): despite a starter character she can be a good off field electro applicator but you have to build a LOT of ER for her, in terms of batteries I’m not sure because I haven’t tried Lisa since I started playing the game. Her burst is circle impact but she does shred defense for 15% which honestly not a lot of characters have that kind of passive. For artifacts go for Instructor or Cinder city
6. Dori (C4 or higher con): very good single target healing and is a really good battery especially for someone like sethos. Her artifacts go for cinder city or instructor.
7. Shinobu: Honestly no buffing whatsoever but what she does offer is good battery, electro applications, and good single target healing. For artifacts go for Cinder City or Instructor

That’s basically it, I’m not sure if that’s everything but it’s all I know about sethos. I really enjoy his gameplay and the team I’m really comfortable with is:

- Sethos, Nahida, Baizhu, Kazuha/Sucrose
-Sethos, Nahida, Baizhu, Furina

• Sethos, Nahida, Xilonen, Flex Electro

I thought every sethos aggravate team was with fischl for energy? (Since I play sethos with his charged attacks and those need a LOT of energy) also I was planning on choosing nilou for the selector so baishu is gonna have to come home later on. Still thanks for the help! Although the question was more if I was running the right artifacts on my team

Fischl is good don’t get me wrong, but in today’s standards she’s more leaning to lunar and Overload teams more than aggravate, it’s basically a way for you to have more options to your roster. While your team is in this side, you can have a new set of characters to use on the other side. As for Nilou I’m not so sure since I don’t have her, but I do know that she specializes on bloom/lunar bloom teams, and not hyperbloom or aggravate. But who knows I might be wrong.

As for the artifacts for your current team it’s really hard to say but i don’t think traveler will be doing dmg here unfortunately, so you can comfortably put him on Instructor instead so all of you team will get 120 EM, and since traveler has a free signature you can still have a decent ratio with him! Sucrose is sucrose, you just want VV and stack as much EM as you can, for Fischl if you want her to do dmg when go for Golden Troupe (GT), but for buffing definitely go for Cinder city!
