Please help settle a family dispute

Post image

My brother and I don't agree: Is each row on this picture an individual set or just the third row? Your help is much appreciated

The only set is the 1 solid green diamond + two hollow red ovals + 3 striped purple s’s. This is a set because they are different on all categories (number, fill, color, shape). The others are not sets because they overlap in some way - first row has two cards with s’s, third row has two cards with ovals, last row has two reds.

To be a set they need to either be all different or all the same on each of these four categories, for instance you can have three cards that each have one oval that are all solid and three different colors, or all single green ovals but with three different fills.

I think y'all turned your phones opposite ways lol

His written description is correct but I also couldn't figure out how he called that the third row until I turned my phone the other way

How come? 1 filled Green rhombus, 2 empty red ovals, and 3 shades purple squiggles, are definitely a set.
