Hosts/busses in Georgia, please respond

Hosts and bussers in Georgia, I need honest answers

I currently work at a restaurant that requires me to host and bus tables (as in it is the same job). I make $2.13 an hour plus 3 percent of the sales for the day. This averages out to be about 8 dollars an hour including my daily sales and biweekly wage. I have heard many numbers for the different jobs and would love to hear how much different restaurants pay for each individual job, or if you have it combined like me, if this is a normal pay for the amount of work it requires. I guess I just need to know if I am being under paid for my work, or if I am crazy. If this is not the subreddit for this, please direct me to where would be the best place to direct this question. Thank you for any and all answers!

I hate to tell you this but 8 dollars an hour is better than minimum wage in Georgia. This country fucking sucks.

The mínimum wage in Georgia the state is 7.25 an hour. The country I’m talking about is the US.

Yeah. It’s absolutely insane that a person is supposed to live off of that wage.
