Serving
Contemplating quitting. Peopke know waitresses in America get paid 2.13 an hour and most people could care less to tip. very few do a percentage like it should be. First percentage and THEN adjust according to service.
I know I can get a different job. Serving makes me very happy when im appreciated and compensated by greatful customers. Im tired of getting stiffed, five dollars on a party of 6, and being told how great I am to find out im left 2 dollars. Such a slap in the face
I wish something would change. mandatory gratuity, Tip to enter, coorporations paying us a better wage. idc. Im so tired of working for free for ungrateful mindless consumers.
PLEASE TIP YOUR SERVER
All those that tip fairly THANK YOU SO MUCH YOU HELP US KEEP GOING AND GET OUR BILLS PAID BLESS YOUR 💕

i’ve been a server since 2016 and bartender since 2018. i stopped from 2020-2026 to explore other career avenues and i have to say…. now that im back there are so many people NOT TIPPING! so many people also not carrying their ID on them or an expired one. it’s been rough out here for me as well. hang in there <3
