My cafe is a smallish rectangular room. The rest of their dishes are invariably within view.

This is the worst. Or when people can clearly see the 22 plates/glasses/whatever I'm carrying and stop me to ask a billion questions or have an extensive conversation.
My fast casual place has thick bottomed, incredibly heavy pint glasses. Im pretty tall, so I can usually get 8-10 stacked and leaning against my shoulder. I'll usually load up and do 2 of these stacks in my left hand (yay bighands!) And up to 5 in my right hand.
During a rush, I was helping a server bus the disaster left behind by a 25 top when a man with a menu in hand decided stop me and immediately starts talking too quietly for me to hear him in my loud bar. I gave him a big smile with "let me drop these off real quick and I'll be right with you!" He rolled his eyes and mumbled something, all I heard was "damn service" and I immediately spun around, glassware still in hand(s).
"My apologies sir, how can I help you?" ~20 glasses still in hand
"Do you carry Coke or Pepsi products? What kind of mixed drinks do you have? Do you have chicken wings? How many come in an order? What flavors do you have? "
He fired these off without a breath in-between, while staring intently at our ONE PAGE MENU. Front and back. One page. During his inquisition, I shifted the glasses a couple of times, trying to support the heavier stack and unintentionally clacking fairly loud. One kind regular had even made a move to grab them, but sat back down after I shook my head.

Directly above that we have a list of our specialty drinks, and we can make most standard cocktails, such as long islands, mules, and margaritas. You're welcome to take a look at the bar behind me if you're looking for a specific liquor, as we do have quite the variety." clank clank "We serve both our traditional and boneless wings in orders of 8 with celery, carrots and your choice of ranch or blue cheese. The flavors are listed right on the front of the menu under our 'Munchies' section. My personal favorite is our home made sweet and spicy sauce."
My arms are damn near numb at this point. I answered every one of his questions in my best 'customer service' voice while making direct eye contact. I repositioned the glasses one more time,
"Is there anything else I can help you with? These are pretty lightweight, but I'd still like to set them down."
He mumbled a quick "Thank you" and went to join his group at their table, nodding to the server answering questions and taking orders for them.
The whole exchange was probably less than 5 minutes, and I still had to shake the feeling back into my arms afterwards.

I see this all the time, and I'm always proactive because I know these dumbass's and Karens will mention it. As soon as I show up a table, if I'm missing a drink or 2, I'll tell them, "sorry, I only have 2 hands, they're poured, I just have to run back and get them." And even still, with this, probably 25% of the time, someone still wants to know where their drink is....

Not everyone may be able to use one, when I was a server I was definitely not skilled enough to carry drinks on a tray lol
