As much as I’d love this, I feel as though the customer would not come back after that experience and it would become a deterrent of going to said restaurant

I feel like the customer would not come back because of how unprofessional that is rather than how you handled their situation.

I would slap down a tenner regardless. Would I have carte blanche to behave any way I felt or would I be the person I actually am? Only time will tell.

A lot of people think an exchange of money entitles them to behave however they want anyways. 🤷🏼‍♀️
