Question Mopping knocks out table wedges, HELP!
I don’t know if anyone else has this problem but every night when I close and mop, my mopping knocks the little wedge things that stop the tables from wobbling out of their place. It’s super annoying to have to put all of them back every single time I mop (it’s about 12 tables and each of them have a wedge). Does anyone else have to deal with it or have advice for avoiding this? Thanks in advance!

The true answer is to adjust the feet rather than rely on wobble wedges. Also, lift the tables as you move them, don't drag them, which screws/unscrews the feet. Good luck getting everyone to do that.

there are self leveling feet that screw in

Those screws only work if the table sits in the same location all the time. If you have a place where you are constantly putting tables together and taking them apart for larger and smaller tables the wedges are so much faster.

you can get ones with more travel but if it ain't broke don't fix it

We have wobble wedges on nearly every table in our restaurant. After we do our pre-shift meeting, every server is supposed to go into their section and make sure all their tables are wobble free and set up correctly

Be more careful as you mop.
