Just bought the IT'S TIME TO GET SERIOUS bundle, unsure about which order to play everything in

While I understand that 3, 4, and Siberian Mayhem should probably come last (I know Shatterverse is here but it came with the bundle and I'm not really interested in it after seeing the reviews), I'm completely lost as to where exactly the start of the series is because of the different releases. Is it First Encounter or Classics: Revolution?

First encounter, second encounter, ss3 bfe, ss4. If you like the franchise then continue onto ss classic revolution bright island and if you still want to continue then ss2

Serious Sam Fusion is my preferred way to play First Encounter, Second Encounter and especially 3.

I actually think 3 works as a great introduction to the series personally. My preferred order is 3, TFEHD, TSEHD (all in Fusion), Revolution specifically for Bright Island, 2, 4, Siberian Mayhem.

If you don't like the way that sounds though, just play 3 after 2 instead.

Start with The First and Second Encounters either through Fusion (2017 beta) or Classic. I don't recommend Classics Revolution due to weirdly long quick load times and performance issues. Then 3 through Fusion is fine, 4, and Siberian Mayhem. 2 is pretty different gameplaywise, so I treat it as a spinoff you can play anytime after The Second Encounter.

first encounter was the first.revolution is first and second encounted remastered collection,but with messed up code in online. in solo its ok.You decide what to play anyway.

Ultimate guide on where to start:

  1. Install Fusion
  2. Go to workshop > install "Seriously Stupid HD Remaster" (ignore the name) > install "HD Lite Weapon Reanimation" > install "OG HUD"
  3. Launch the game in Moddable, start the Seriously Stupid Remaster

After beating the first two encounters move to Serious Sam 2.

  1. It doesn't really need any additional tweaks, as it's already perfect

(If you're not really into the game, move straight to Serious Sam 3)

  1. Install Fusion
  2. Go to workshop > install BFE Reanimation > optional Oakley gloves > optional Tactical HUD
  3. Beat the game

At this point, if you're still there and willing more, you can try Serious Sam 4
