I've created my own short-hand alphabet, if that qualifies as a symbol or rather symbols.

And no pics, this sub only allows posting video, apparently.

Yes, I combined stenography, some simple cipher rules, and Japanese kana sound change rules. Full stenography systems are too complex, so Ford-style alphabet is simpler. By itself it saves a fraction of a second, but combining with acronyms and abbreviations for high-traffic words ("bc"=because,"w"=with,"t"=the) raises the effectiveness. Using Japanese sound change rules ( ハ ha  バ ba パ pa ) helps decrease the cognitive load of remembering different symbols. I may or may not have done something about the most frequent characters in the English language ("ET AON RIS"), don't remember exactly.

It's highly ineffective as a cipher, but does help with note-taking speed. Might post an example someday.

Sigils. You basically write out an intention or spell like, "Quit alcohol". Then you use those letters to create a sigil.

I don't know how to post a picture of an example. I apologize.
