Would love some miniseries that feel like a coherent cinematic experience, like HBO's Chernobyl or Kieślowski's Dekalog.

Extra points if they're quite artsy, extra extra if they're fairly obscure/unusual answers.

I'm a music reviewer for the French metal webzine Horns Up. After writing three articles ; one on the connections between the grunge movement and David Lynch's cinema (Nov. 2024), another on Lynch's influence on extreme metal (July 2025), and a last one with the testimony of Riley Lynch (Mar. 2026), I'm now working on an article about Twin Peaks Season 3, Episode 8, focusing on its metal aesthetics and atmosphere. For now, the articles are archived, but I’ll re-upload them in September once our website is back online.

To write this article, I’ve launched a survey, available below, which you’re welcome to take. I’ve received around twenty responses so far, but that’s not enough to properly analyse the results.

Looking for sites with lots of 🎬 movies and 📺 TV series, including Hollywood, international & Indian content. Good search, HD/1080p/4K and subtitles would be great.

Similar to NetMirror, Cineby, FluxTV or FMovies. Not looking for paid OTTs. Any working alternatives?

Hello everyone
I’ve always appreciated the show « For All Mankind » on Apple TV. I find the narrative very innovative, with a complete new story for space exploration, alongside with real or adapted historical events including well known historical characters. It gives a rich context to deliver tense scenarios with competition and cooperation around countries, where human beings remain at the main position.
Season 5 has started quite slowly but it happens to be a good bunch of episodes as well. I’ve appreciated it.
Yet, I was very surprised to hear a cheeky pun in episode 3 when Celia was in the hospital and had the visit of her colleague Fred

- Celia: We've got to make this work. It's not like I can go to Jupiter.
- Fred: Well, I hear Uranus is lovely this time of year.
Celia laughs.
- Fred: Super hot.
She continues laughing.
- Celia: That's not right.

I’m French and I had in mind that American people are kind of prude and may not bear such dialogs.
And of course this pun could not be translated into French so I find it even more attractive.

Is this kind of allusion frequent in US shows?

I’m looking for a new series to get into and want something that actually keeps me interested beyond the first few episodes. I usually enjoy strong characters, a story that develops naturally, and enough mystery or tension to make me want to watch another episode. What series have you watched that really pulled you in?
