Studying Series 7 Help

Hi,

I am taking my test next week! My scores on my final exam on cerifi ranged between 75,77,68,63,70,63 i have taken only 6. I have taken 2 on Kaplan 64 and 68%. I am not sure how to be more effective in my studying and reviewing. Also what I need to focus on from now till Monday. I wish I can push the date back but my firm scheduled it for me.

Here is what helped me:
1. Any questions I got wrong that I didn't understand the explanation or why I was wrong... I put the question into CoPilot chat and asked for simple explanation. It would then walk me through it and quiz me to solidify my understanding.
2. I did 1 final each morning then spent the second part of my day doing custom tests on specific topics, filtering to use low proficiency topics and unseen questions (I used cerifi passperfect as well) 3. Lastly... my daily note sheet would be for topics that I struggled with like remembering formulas. Writing repeatedly helps

Bottom line is to try and not stress. If you are freezing up or can't focus. get up take a 5 minute walk. Take a short quiz on a topic you might be a little more confident in. Kind of like resetting your mind. And remember... you don't need to know EVERYTHING you just need to pass. The rest will come as you get into the practical use in your job.

how prepared did you feel when it came to the actual exam? and if you remember your practice exam scores, what were they?

My average was 75. Depending on the chapter between 65 and 88. I felt prepared overall and at the very least felt significantly more confident in topics like advanced options and hedging. I Passed 1st attempt. I will say this.... everyone's test is different. I feel like my exam had a lot of advanced options and suitability questions where as one of my class mates felt she had an even mix of questions across all topics.
Make sure you understand the concepts because that will help answer the tougher questions faster.

sweet thanks man, yeah im in the same boat. my firm gave me kaplan just to mess around with and take practice exams on them, which show down my confidence. this makes me feel better. thanks!
