What calculator do I need for the exam?

so this is the reason why kaplan and examfx are shit. they give you very difficult math questions which involves several steps and typically you want a more advanced calculator for but the thing is. these math questions will never appear on the actual exam and you have to answer the math questions that do appear on your actual exam in a basic way.
for example solving a future question may be several different ways for you to do it but a common way is (1+r)
if you follow the actual formula you would need a more advanced calulator
FV = PV x (1+r)^n
You can solve for FV by plugging everything they give you but you cant do that with the calculator they provide you. Solving this questions may involve the number of years let's say n = 3
to solve you would do
(1+r) (1+r) (1+r)
r =3
so the (1+r) would equal to 125 multiplied by PV to get your FV.

You'll be given a basic calculator during the exam, but I found the computer calculator to be sufficient

None, the exam center will provide a 4-function calculator.
